The fact is that I have quite a few lipsticks. The number isn’t really that big but in the past year I’ve accumulated so many that I keep forgetting about some of them on a regular basis. This is why I’ve decided that my lipsticks need some more loving.
In December, my focus will be on the Canadian brand Hello Waffle. I’ve written about the brand before (here, here, and here) so I’ll jump straight into the review, as well as the description of my new project.

November, probably the third* dullest month is gone and done. It’s finally got really cold outside and in my opinion that’s a good enough reason to stay indoors, drink copious amounts of tea and watch TV series. Really, why would anyone want to go outside to freeze their socks off?
However, there were some make-up, perfumes and skincare products that made getting ready for work (or going to sleep) much easier. This is my first favourites post, in which I will describe some things that I liked using the most in the past month. Enjoy the ride!
(Psst, there are swatches, too!)

In April 2016 the Australian company called Femme Fatale released the Enchanted Fables collection, which was inspired by heroines from numerous classic fairy tales.

This post deserves a disclaimer straight away: my nails aren’t in their best condition and they haven’t really improved from last year. From a regular bystander’s point of view, their ridges surely signify that something’s wrong with me? Well, as luck might have it, my nails have been ridged ever since I was born so I suppose it’s just their natural state.

Future Primitive Soap Co. is an English bath and body company, founded by Tiggy in 2006. They focus mainly on soapmaking and other bathing products but you will also find the odd perfume oils if you visit their webpage. They’re vegan-friendly, don’t test on animals and use natural ingredients, which are mostly Fair Trade. I decided to test their most popular products in scents that usually comfort me. That just has to be lavender – I can’t imagine a better scent to wear when you’re about to hit the bed.

As you’ve probably noticed already, I’m rather keen on alternative, independent beauty products. I discovered this post on Reddit a long while back and I decided to write a proper blog post about it in case anyone wondered why I decided to go down this rabbithole.

Hello! I’ve finally shaken off my blogging lull and decided to post a quick review of the perfumes I’ve bought in February. Yes, I’ve made another purchase at Haus of Gloi – if you’ve read this post, you probably know already that I really like their perfumes.

December and January have taken its leave already, and I have had plenty of time to test the remaining perfume oil samples that I received in my not-so-recent destash haul. In the meantime I’ve also received some other perfume samples but I thought I’d better check this lot off the to-do list first before moving on to newer beauties.

Today I prepared a post about my favourite lipsticks – the ones I will most likely wear this festive season. They’re not your typical reds or vampy shades, instead they’re more natural and not in your face. Perfect for office wear and nice solutions when you go out but want to emphasize your other features and not your lips.
