These are the products I’ve bought recently. As you can see, it’s a mix of beauty and fitness items so hopefully everyone will find something interesting to check out. Please bear in mind it’s my first time doing anything like this so the post might not be as coherent as it’s supposed to be. The pictures aren’t stellar, I know, but they will look better once I edit them on my laptop. πŸ™‚

#1 Bourjois Rouge Velvet Acqua Laque — 02 RosΓ© on the rocks

At first, I was very sceptical. I wanted another lipstick but this was being marketed more like a liquid kind, something like a lip gloss. I dislike lip glosses because they tend to be sticky and having hair stuck to your lips (or carrying bits of lip gloss) is just gross. However, the formula of this one surprised me in a positive way because it’s not sticky — it simply glides on the lips and gives them a nice colour. I’m loving it so far and I might do a proper review at some point.

#2 Catrice Illuminating Blush — Coral Me Maybe

Everyone and their mother love this blush and since I was in search for a pink blush to keep my red/brownish one’s company, I decided to give this one a go. It’s light pink with a coral hue and is very pigmented so you have to use it sparingly and cautiously. Or is it just me who has a heavy hand? πŸ™‚

#3 Gaia Creams — 100% Raw Avocado Skin Therapy

This cream is a lifesaver. I got back from holiday with terrible skin on my face. I’d had an allergic reaction to a suncream and even though I stopped using it on my face as soon as I realised what was going on, it was still damaged, dehydrated and dry. After spraying Melvita’s floral water on my face, I rushed to this tiny cream, which helped repair my skin in the following days and haven’t looked back since.

#4 Eveline Cooling After Sun Gel SOS

This is a cooling gel that soothes your skin after a day at the beach. It doesn’t work wonders but, as they say, every little helps. Whatever that means. I like the gel, it smells nice, it sinks in fast and provides some hydration.

#5 Go Nutrition Protein Pancake Mix — Blueberry Cheesecake

Let me tell you, this stuff is bomb. Just follow the directions written on the back of the pouch and you’ll end up with some tasty pancakes. Now, if you prefer crepes, things get a little trickier. All you’re supposed to is to add a little more water to the mixture and make the crepes but — since I’m a clumsy cook — I cannot for the life of me make a perfect crepe.They either get burnt or undercooked or too runny or… I honestly have no idea what I’m doing wrong but I will probably try again and again until I succeed.
