Blogmas #6: Sunday Recap

Another Sunday, another recap-style post! I have found some interesting articles (and videos) that I would really like to share with you. Enjoy!

  1. 3 Ways of Cooking Chestnuts by Fatto in casa da Benedetta: I’ve never actually known how to cook chestnuts (as opposed to roasting them) so I was pretty excited when my dad sent me a link to this video. The chestnut season is unfortunately over already but now I know what I’ll be doing next year, haha!
  2. Eyeshadow Basics by Batalash: I’m slowly getting into eye make-up (huge thanks to Taya and Petra for doing tutorials and just generally being an inspiration). Getting into it doesn’t mean just buying tons of eyeshadow but also checking out professionals’ work. This video covers the basics and is exactly what I need at this point.
  3. Colours that Emphasize Your Eyes by Mateja’s Beauty Blog: Have you wondered which colours suit your eyes? Well, look no further than this post. It covers everything you need to know about colour theory and gives examples for the four basic eye colours.

  4. What the Heck is Cellulite?… Plus Can You Get Rid of It? by Honesty for Your Skin: Here’s a comprehensive post about cellulite, its causes, and ways to get rid of it. What I like about this post is that it doesn’t promote unhealthy ways of losing it (yes, liposuction isn’t healthy although it’s a fast way to get rid of that pesky little bugger) but it honestly explains your options. The poster doesn’t get into much detail but then again, it’s not a fitness blog.

  5. Postali smo razvajene “riti” by Jessiefairytale: This post is written in Slovene so let me roughly translate the gist. We’ve become so spoilt, expecting the newest gadget every single year and not being satisfied with what we have at the moment. We ditch something in search for something bigger, better. We’re not being thankful for the people in our lives and we don’t show them we care about them. Let December be the month when we make a change and start appreciating what and who we have in our lives. Let’s stop being so materialistic.

What articles would you recommend to me?
