Sixteen92 Detangling Hair Mist in Paper Moon

Everyone needs a good detangler in their life. Well, at least those with dry, tangle-prone hair do! I still remember my first detangler that I used as a child, many moons ago. I loved it because it smelt of bubblegum. Now, Sixteen92 Detangling Hair Mist in Paper Moon is a far cry from sweet chewing gum but I like the way it smells nonetheless.

Sixteen92 Detangling Hair Mist – What It Is

The main ingredients of this Detangling Hair Mist are aloe vera, which softens the hair and controls its frizziness, marshmallow root, to give shine, hydrate and detangle the hair, and vegetable glycerin, which acts as a humectant and moisturiser.

Ingredients: purified water, aloe vera gel, vegetable glycerin, mallow root extract, polysorbate 20, fragrance blend, liquid germall+ (preservative), vitamin e

A detangling mist is a spray for unravelling the tangles and knots that inevitably appear as time goes by. Especially on bleached hair like mine. Because I like supporting indies, I decided to get a detangler from one of the most known brands, Sixteen92. This mist is said to detangle the hair and add shine to it. You’re supposed to use the Detangling Hair Mist on towel-dried hair and wait for it to dry naturally.

Because it’s wintertime, I use it on dry hair to scent and detangle it. If your hair is fine, don’t overdo it, otherwise you will end up with (slightly) crunchy locks. This detangler manages to detangle my hair but it’s not a magical problem-solver. It doesn’t contain silicones, which coat your hair and make it easier for a comb to slip through. However, I’m satisfied with the Detangling Hair Mist.

Paper Moon – the Scent

Soft vanilla musk, benzoin, oakmoss, trailing ivy, peach blossom, rose.

At first, I’m hit with a blast of a juicy peach and a hint of rose. This floral-fruity accord slowly fades to reveal a trail of oakmoss and ivy. The scent turns from fruity to green and damp. I know it doesn’t sound enticing but trust me – it smells lovely. It adds an unusual scent of freshness that goes well with other frangrances that are on the cool, floral or fruity spectrum. However, it doesn’t stay on for very long, so matching it with your perfume shouldn’t be too problematic.

Sixteen92 Detangling Hair Mist in Paper Moon – the Verdict

I’m quite enjoying this detangler because it detangles my hair and scents them with a beautiful fragrance. It’s not a miracle worker but I’ll gladly use it up and perhaps repurchase it in the future. Paper Moon the perfume has surely gone on my wishlist! 🙂
