Hello, autumn! It’s time to review a perfume by Arcana Wildcraft – and this one symbolises autumn in (probably) the best possible way. If you’re interested in atmospheric scents but still prefer warm, foody scents, Leaves Falling Like Rain is for you.
In honor of our beloved Pacific Northwest and the best time of the year. A comforting base of brown sugar, caramel, gingersnaps, and cappuccino is sparked off with hints of vintage patchouli, hyssop, mullein, and white pepper.
As you probably know, I was wary of mint for the longest time. However, Arcana Wildcraft’s Glittering Blue convinced me to try out more scents like that, so now I have a little army of the Glitterings on my nightstand. 🙂
With the imminent snowstorm, I thought this would be a great opportunity to share my impression of Arcana Wildcraft’s Snow Witch collection before it really gets too warm. The Snow Witch collection has been released in late November 2020. It consists of 6 perfume oils priced at $26 USD each. While you can find all of them here on Arcana Wildcraft’s website, some of the scents have been sold out already. You might find them at other retailers or on the aftermarket.
I actually bought decants of 4 different scents that piqued my interest, and later I bought a full size of (spoiler alert!) Moonrise because I liked it that much. If you’re interested in Ritual and Embers, read the Redolent Mermaid’s review. You know I trust her opinion.
Without further ado, here are the reviews of the Arcana Wildcraft Snow Witch collection!
One of Arcana Wildcraft‘s 2020 releases, Love & Sex aka Valentine’s collection, is actually a re-release of an older collection(s). This range features 8 naughty scents that tickle your nose (and your imagination). These were sent as a PR gift along with my Arcana Craves order (a review of which should be up soon, too).
During the quarantine, I was stuck in my tiny, lovely flat away from my family, my usual haunts, and – as luck would have it – my camera charger, too. This meant I had no way of actually taking these photos until the lockdown was over. Not being able to photograph is such a first-world problem and really unimportant in the grand scheme of things but it is something I love, so I felt much better after the lockdown was over, when I could walk more freely around the neighbourhood and take photos if the inspiration stroke the right chord. The whole thing also made me count my blessings and just truly appreciate what I have. Anyway, I hope we’re on the path to a better future and better selves now.
The Valentine’s collection can be found here. Each perfume costs $26 USD and is vegan, as well as cruelty-free. Samples are not available at the time of writing this post.
