Released as part of the Beat the Heat summer collection, Glittering Blue from Arcana Wildcraft is a “blue” take on the Glittering White perfume oil.
So, if this collection was released in July, why do you talk about it now, you ask. Well, I bought it in October, so I couldn’t have posted it any earlier than that. Anyway, Glittering Blue wears great in winter and spring, too. With the current temperature swings ranging from the frosty 0 °C (32 °F) in the morning to the splendid 18 °C (64 °F) in the afternoon, I thought I’d give this perfume oil some more wear time.
Arcana Wildcraft Glittering Blue review
A cooling blend of tart blue lemonade, iced lemon bundt cake, creamy blue musk, a drizzle of blue chamomile, and Glittering White (cold peppermint, sugar cookies, marshmallows, white chocolate, vanilla musk).
These two perfumes by Arcana Wildcraft have turned out to be quite the fan favourites! Haint has a long-standing fame already, having returned in 2018 after a few years of “radio silence”. Mongolian Death Worm is a completely new scent that was released for Halloween 2019, and is one of the first perfumes from this collection that has been sold out. So what are they all about?
These perfumes were sent to me by Arcana Wildcraft as a gift, however I have another bottle of Haint that I have purchased myself. All opinions shared are my own.
Released in August 2019, Arcana Wildcraft Night-Tripping Fairies collection focuses on the fairies from Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It features eight scents, each bright and cheery, but yet distinct. Julia, the creator of these fragrances, extracted many of the ingredients herself, as well as wild-harvested and distilled all plant ingredients labelled as such.
My parents have always gathered various berries and other plants in the wild, including juniper berries and spruce tips. Making anything edible out of them takes literal weeks, so I appreciate the effort and time Julia has put into making this collection.
You can buy Arcana Wildcraft’s Night-Tripping Fairies on their website for $6 (1.11 ml), $26 (5 ml), or $76 (15 ml).

You might remember my review of Echolocation, one of Arcana Wildcraft‘s scents from the Coast of Cascadia collection (You don’t? Go read it here). But you might not know that I also have two other perfumes from this range. I bought Cascadian Mermaid last year after hearing raves about it, and I won Goofy Foot in the Redolent Mermaid’s giveaway.
Yes, it took me a long, long time to review them but the wait is finally over. Grab yourself a drink, get cosy, and read a short review of these Arcana Wildcraft Coast of Cascadia olfactory postcards. 🙂
Fresh coconut and cardamom with green notes of spearmint, fresh basil, and one drop of vetiver grass.
