With the imminent snowstorm, I thought this would be a great opportunity to share my impression of Arcana Wildcraft’s Snow Witch collection before it really gets too warm. The Snow Witch collection has been released in late November 2020. It consists of 6 perfume oils priced at $26 USD each. While you can find all of them here on Arcana Wildcraft’s website, some of the scents have been sold out already. You might find them at other retailers or on the aftermarket.
I actually bought decants of 4 different scents that piqued my interest, and later I bought a full size of (spoiler alert!) Moonrise because I liked it that much. If you’re interested in Ritual and Embers, read the Redolent Mermaid’s review. You know I trust her opinion.
Without further ado, here are the reviews of the Arcana Wildcraft Snow Witch collection!
Everyone needs a good detangler in their life. Well, at least those with dry, tangle-prone hair do! I still remember my first detangler that I used as a child, many moons ago. I loved it because it smelt of bubblegum. Now, Sixteen92 Detangling Hair Mist in Paper Moon is a far cry from sweet chewing gum but I like the way it smells nonetheless.
La Vague. The Wave. A painting by Georges Clairin that inspired Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab when creating a scent of the Salon: Traveling Exhibit collection, exclusive to Pretty Indulgent.
This August has been the hottest month of 2017 and it made me steer towards lighter, fresher scents. La Vague is on the fruity side of the fresh category, something that promises an elegant floral sweetness and gives you a lively kick out of an otherwise dull, extremely hot afternoon.
White peach, lily of the valley, jasmine, rose, iris, osmanthus, tangerine, white wine grape, and cream accord.
Today I present the company that’s mysterious and hilarious, poetical and political. It’s the one that intrigues me the most, a source of endless inspiration, curiousity, and wonderment. This is Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab and they make amazing perfumes.
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is a perfume company from North Hollywood, California. They describe their business and products as “extraordinary scents for extraordinary people”. A short and succinct description, just as most people like it. However, the people behind this four-word brand name (BPAL) aren’t just making perfumes, they create stories based on various pieces of literature or film, combining both classical literature and fantasy novels. Films and paintings.
