Arcana Wildcraft Night-Tripping Fairies

Released in August 2019, Arcana Wildcraft Night-Tripping Fairies collection focuses on the fairies from Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It features eight scents, each bright and cheery, but yet distinct. Julia, the creator of these fragrances, extracted many of the ingredients herself, as well as wild-harvested and distilled all plant ingredients labelled as such.

My parents have always gathered various berries and other plants in the wild, including juniper berries and spruce tips. Making anything edible out of them takes literal weeks, so I appreciate the effort and time Julia has put into making this collection.

You can buy Arcana Wildcraft’s Night-Tripping Fairies on their website for $6 (1.11 ml), $26 (5 ml), or $76 (15 ml).

Arcana Wildcraft Echolocation

Arcana Wildcraft’s Echolocation is part of their Coast of Cascadia summer collection. If I remember correctly, the collection was first released back in 2014, and it returned in 2018 and 2019. This collection is inspired by the Oregon coast, the home of Arcana.

Arcana Wildcraft Echolocation – the Review

How whales find one other. Ambergris and amber resin with ruby grapefruit, sweet guava, saltwater, vanilla pods, and the merest hints of patchouli and vetiver.

Boasting fruity and salty notes, Arcana Wildcraft Echolocation instantly caught my intention. I guess I was still high on Lammas and wanted to get more of that sweet, sweet grapefruit. Not to mention that grapefruit’s become my favourite citrus fruit, so it was only natural that Echolocation would appeal to me.
