Hello, readers! Summer’s in full swing and although this time around I haven’t travelled much (having a job can be tough), it is no secret that I love explorning unknown corners of Slovenia as well as the world. Not many of you know that I have another little corner in the blogosphere, A Wayfarers’ Blog, which was used to describe the adventure on which I went with my friend a few years ago and later my solo adventure, again to England. Obviously I don’t post there any more; instead I’ll focus on this one (Bunnyechoes) because I don’t believe in that many online blogging outlets. I don’t like things to be spread too thin after all!
As you’re reading this, I’m on my way to a nicer part of the world. I’m going to the Croatian seaside! So this is why this post will be short but sweet (yes, it’s scheduled).
I had a tough day at work, having to take care of everything by 4 pm. I also needed to buy some tidbits for the trip and pack up for ten days or so. I’ve discovered that most my shorts didn’t fit me any more, all of them were too big. This is what happens when you lose a few centimetres round your waist but you forget to check whether any of old shorts still fit. Oh well, I guess I’ll look like a clown, wearing oversized clothes. But summer getaways are great for wearing clothes you’re too shy to wear back home, right?
Finally! The photoshoot has been completed and my red rucksack all packed up. I wanted to travel with as few items as possible so I put everything in the mentioned rucksack and a handbag – luckily, Ryanair has become a bit more lenient when it comes to cabin baggage! Yay! It turned out that getting to the Trieste airport more than two hours in advance was a waste of time because the security check was crowd-free and, afterall, we had our seats reserved already so there really was no need to be the first in line. Since we had a lot of time to spare, my boyfriend and I answered a questionnaire about customer satisfaction at the airport. Some questions required us to THINK REALLY HARD because Italian English non funziona. 🙂
