Hi everyone! Today we’ll be looking at one of the first Solstice Scents’ perfumes I’ve owned, Foxcroft. It’s also quite possibly my first atmospheric perfume.
Solstice Scents Foxcroft – the Review
Decaying leaves, rich black soil, dry leaves, fall air, woods, chimney smoke.
I’m going to be honest. These three beauties – Camp Willow, Riverside Sleighride, and Sawmill – were purchased about a year ago. I let them rest for the usual 7–14 days, took photos of them, drafted my post etc., but they somehow never saw the light of day on my blog. Today this is going to change. Let me present you three of the Solstice Scents Winter 2018/2019 perfumes! I’ve written to Solstice Scents customer service, and they told me they would reappear in their Winter 2019 release, currently scheduled for mid-December. Edit 15/12: These perfumes will be/were released on Saturday 14/12 at 7 pm EST.
If there’s any sort of perfume Solstice Scents excel at, it must be the (hyper) realistic one. After the Rain belongs to this category, and it smells just like it’s described.
Lilac, Wisteria, Blue Lotus, Rain, Green Accord, Wild Violets, Earth.
Thanks to the Australian retailer Femme Fatale, I had already tried a couple of Solstice Scents perfumes* when I decided to place my very first order with Solstice Scents. Boasting with an extensive library of olfactory delights, the brand sure doesn’t make the decision process easy. For my first order, I went with a couple of fan favourites, as well as some perfumes from the Spring Collection that appealed to me.
*Those perfumes were Foxcroft and Nightgown – let me know in the comments below if you want to read another Solstice Scents review!
Don’t you just love the card the samples are attached to?
